Taming/gentling: Lena is a certified TIP trainer and has worked with people and their BLM mustangs. She specializes in gentling and developing a partnership between horse and human. Through careful confidence building and developing communication, taming wild horses is a special process between horses and people. It takes attention to slight details in body language from both horses and humans to develop a safer and trustworthy partnership. Lena works with the wild horses per session rather than per hour to be there for what the horse needs which can be more or less than an hour each session on a 14 day minimum. Wild horses must be in TIP certified enclosure.

"The horse always sets the time frame. No matter our expectations, the horse will tell us when he is ready and can learn. As trainers we are mentors and mediators, not magicians. It is my job to help the horse be a good learner, not to push through 30 or 60 days to make a wonder horse. Let the horse be our guide and they will start to look for the answers we are teaching them to find"
